Composite Doors
The composite door, what is it and what is it made from ?
The main skin of the door is made from an impact resistant, glass reinforced acrylic resin bonded onto an internal thermoplastic surface. The centre of the door is cfc free polyurethane foam. The door leaf is hung in a upvcu outer frame. Steel is used to reinforce the structure where necessary.
This advanced materials technology provides the ultimate combination of a traditional door surface appearance with a modern, technically superior door.
The surface of the door is grained to give the appearance of natural timber, a full range of colours and styles are available. Fully finished the door requires no painting, just a wipe down with a damp cloth now and again.
As with all our products, high security locks and hinges are fitted as standard.
High security, meets both pas 023 and pas 024 security standards. All glass will be safety glass to comply with both the glazing codes and document l.
All the doors are made to measure, our surveyor will carry out a full survey and order your door to you individual requirements. The door when manufactured will be installed by our fully trained installation engineers.

“Door-stop composite doors come in seven external colours; red, green, blue, black, white, oak and now also in darkwood. The internal colour is white.
The solid colours - red, green, blue, white and black - are pre-pigmented which means the colour is added during the manufacturing process. As the skins are applied, the colour goes on evenly.
The light oak finish is a hand-applied stained finish to give depth the woodgrain.
Finally all the doors have a high gloss, UV resistant film to give them a final sheen.”
