Splashbacks
Sheerwater Glass now can supply splashbacks for your kitchen or bathroom. Our splashbacks are always made from Pilkington toughened glass, we do not supply non safety glass splashbacks, unless requested to do so. We do not recommend the use of non safety glass.
The toughened splashback is normally made from low iron glass, this means that the glass is clear and has not the usual characteristic green tint that clear glass has. The effect of using low iron glass is that the colour of the splashback will not be distorted.
We can have the splashback painted to any Dulux colours, let us know the colour RAL code and we will match it. RAL is a series of color matching systems used in Europe .
Where required we can cut out holes for plug sockets, or pipe fittings. The external edges of the splashback will be polished, to give a very professional look. Templates are required for out of square or irregular shapes. The finished item will be foil backed to protect the paint finish.
We also can manufacture toughened glass shower screens in clear or obscure glass.
We can cut out for hinges, and drill for handles.
