White Slimline Windows and Doors: Woking, Surrey

2nd Jul 2018

The Project

Our clients chose to work with us for their window and door installation after several neighbours on their street recommended us to them.

Our clients wanted to change their windows – many of them had blown and were susceptible to condensation – and their rear sliding door.

What we did

The new windows were replacing old uPVC, but the existing windows had been fitted badly with no lintels; so we arranged for a builder to fix this prior to the installation.

The entire property was fitted with new white A-rated Slimline windows with 4mm toughened glass; this energy efficient glazing will reduce heat loss through the windows and insulate their home against any external noise.

The sliding doors at the rear of the property were replaced with Slimline French doors; creating a stunning connection between their home the garden.

The bay window at the front of the house is beautiful and should show off the character of their home, but the thick uPVC failed to do so. Our new sleek Slimline frame is a great alternative to the chunkier uPVC frame, which can be very distracting to the natural attractiveness of the window.

The slimmer frame results in a lustrous and striking window, and the lower proportion of glass to frame allows more light to flood into the home.

What did our clients think?

Our clients explained that the fitters were very pleasant to have around and worked quickly and efficiently. They were surprised at how well the fitting team cleaned up after themselves too, commenting that this was really important to them.

They said: “Sheerwater Glass were really excellent, from the beginning of the project with the initial quote by Simon, right through to the fitting. Ten out of ten for everything. The whole experience has been excellent!
