Wood Grain Slimline Windows with Square Leading: Guildford, Surrey

27th Aug 2018

The Project

Our client in Guildford has lived in their property for 24 years. They had considered changing the original timber windows with square leading for several years. Now that they’re semi-retired, they decided to take the opportunity. With more time on their hands, it was the perfect opportunity to start working on their beautiful home.

Why they chose Sheerwater Glass

To get an idea of the design that they desired for the house, our client took a wonder around the neighbourhood. They discovered a house with windows which they thought would be perfect for their home too. They decided to knock on their neighbour’s door to ask them about the window style and who had fitted them.

It just so happened that it was us who had carried out their neighbour’s installation and they had been very happy with the whole process. So with this recommendation, they gave us a call!

How we helped

The client opted for white wood grain Slimline windows throughout the house. It was the style they desired but it also ensured the property kept in tune with the other homes on the road.

The wood grain finish on the windows was an excellent choice to complement the style of the property and was a close match to the original timber texture. The original windows were square leaded, but the modern design of larger squares and the sleeker Slimline frames around the glass has resulted in more light shining in their home.

What did our clients think?

Our client was impressed by how quickly our installers worked, especially in the heat. They said, “Sheerwater Glass was a very nice company to work with, we were very happy with the product and the service.
