Prices are indicative. Access, the condition of the existing frames and the fitting itself all move the final figure. Your quotation is the accurate number, and it is free.

Glass manufacturing is heavily energy dependent, so our costs move with energy prices. Rather than pad every quotation against a rise that may not happen, we quote the real number on the day. If it lapses, come back whenever you are ready and we will requote free of charge.

You want the slimmest sightlines available. Classic starts from 59mm, Prestige from 88mm, both slimmer than any of our uPVC frames.

Aluminium takes the biggest spans and the slimmest sightlines, though it is not the warmer option: Slimline is 1.2 against 1.3 to 1.4 for aluminium.

Styles and configurations

‘Stepped’ takes its cue from traditional steel windows and gives an even slimmer look. ‘Contemporary’ is a modern, minimalist take. Both are available in a standard outer frame or a flush option, which brings the frame and the opening sash together perfectly in line.

Dual colour finishes are available, a different colour inside and out.

What is the difference between Classic and Prestige?

Classic gives you a 59mm sightline and a U-value as low as 1.4. Prestige goes further, with an 88mm sightline, a U-value as low as 1.3 double glazed or 0.9 triple glazed, and a fully enclosed case for extra security.

Are Sheerline windows secure?

Yes. Both Classic and Prestige carry PAS24:2016, the enhanced security accreditation Building Regulations require on new homes, as standard.

Do I need planning permission?

Usually not, but you might if your house is listed or sits in a conservation area, and there are around 200 of those in Surrey. We will flag it at survey if we think you are affected.

Will I get a FENSA certificate?

Yes, automatically, on every installation that qualifies. You will need it when you sell the house.

What happens if something goes wrong in a few years?

Your guarantee covers you: 10 years on frames, glass units and workmanship, 5 years on moving parts and hardware, backed by insurance that survives even if we are not here to honour it.

Can I buy the windows without installation?

Yes. We supply only if you are arranging your own fitting.

* Prices are indicative starting prices, reviewed regularly. They are based on a 1200 x 1200mm window in white with one side hung opener, a fanlight and a fixed pane below, supplied and fitted including VAT, and an order of four windows to the same property. Colours and woodgrain finishes cost more.
