About Send

A lovely small village on the outskirts of Guildford.
Known in previous years for its sand and up to the 1990’s still in use for the distribution of sand from pits in the outskirts of the village.

The river Wey runs through the lower part of the village through to Guildford, with the rest of the ara set to farms and countryside.

What they wanted

New Slimline uPVC windows to replace the worn out old timber frames that they had. With the House in the style of a barn conversion and the wooden barn style planks that adorn the house the windows had to match the black wooden timbers – so the house will still be in keeping with the style and look of the property.

How they found us

What were the old windows like

The old wooden frames were starting to show their age and letting in draughts. With a young family, they really wanted to upgrade to a newer set of windows throughout the whole house, which will keep them warm and secure for many many happy years to come.

How will it change your living

Immensely! Having all the windows done in just a day or so meant minimum disruption to the children and us. We can already feel how better these windows and the whole house feels. The heating doesn’t kick in till far later, or for as long. So we are noticing a real difference.

What were the fitters like

Clean, Tidy and polite. Very good and a high level of service provided.

Would you recommend us

Yes we would. We have been extremely happy with the service from start to finish. And we want a new kitchen door later in the year too!
