The Project: Victorian Cottage uPVC Sash Windows and Composite Front Door Replacement

What they wanted: To replace the 1800’s original sash windows and a new composite front door
What were the old windows and door like before: The original Victorian sash windows had held up to the test of time well, but now they were letting in far too much cold air and the single pain glass wasn’t looking very clear any more. The front door was very old and probably not secure at all any more, again letting in lots of breezes.
How will it change your living: This has completely changed the cottage and my living, even the dogs were starting to get cold in the winter! The new windows look the same but every room is warmer and all the rooms feel lighter. The new front door is lovely and very secure, the last one wasn’t at all. I feel much safer and warmer!
What were the fitters like: They were all great, the dogs liked them and I even took up Paul’s spare work trousers for him! I’m a seamstress!
Would you recommend us: Oh yes, I can now live here very comfortably for many years to come now. I’m very happy.
